Love In Action

When children feel safe, loved and encouraged, that is when they learn best. Our approach focuses on love of family, friends and country through play, books, instruction and traditional Rwandan culture. Our entire approach is focused on creating trauma resilience, conflict prevention and self-sufficiency.

Our children develop their resilience, creativity and competence through the arts.  Basic skills and values are taught with stories, songs, dancing, drawing, painting, and even sculpture. At our school learning is fun, brings families together, and creates life long friendships, all while centering Rwanda’s cultural values.

Our school is also a community for families, in which parents are organized in their own club and contribute to the school’s direction and decision-making in a collaboration with the school administration and faculty.

Each day, we’re creating the foundations for peace, sustainability and democracy, one child and family at a time.
