In addition to workshops and clubs, we have initiated many innovative projects to serve our community, often in response to changing needs and circumstances.  For example, during the pandemic, our center served as a food distribution center where citizens could receive food donations while maintaining healthy social distance.  Other projects have included addressing domestic violence in families referred to us by the local government, workshops to support girls who have become mothers prematurely, and even creating a women’s drumming group that has performed for His Excellency!  But the list of special projects is always growing and includes kitchen gardens, hygiene and sanitation, baking, craft manufacturing including shoes and bags, planting fruit trees, and breeding both goats and pigs.
