CBOPE/IHUMURE is a Rwandan non-governmental, non-profit, non-sectarian organization working to transform lives and communities through trauma healing, conflict transformation and economic self-sufficiency. Founded in 2009 by a small group of volunteers who organized as an Association at first, and  and then officially registered as a local NGO in 2018. With entirely diverse backgrounds, we have remained a stable, tight knit group of volunteers working in gender balanced teams for the last 15 years. IHUMURE continues to provide programming to young and old at its Center, School and in the Community.
